NOTE: Appointment notifications are automatically sent to patients who are enrolled into Patient Portal
In both the EHR and PM you can send messages to a patient.
PM you'll find the patients in the appointment book, Right click on the patients name and locate PatientPortal>Send Message.
When you have a patient open in the EHR you can send a message through PxP by going to File>Patient Portal>Send Message. You can also send Interactive Forms and Documents following the same path in the EHR.
Reminder: Patients must be enrolled into Patient Portal to receive messages, forms and documents. If you are with the patient and they are not enrolled yet, you can Select the Enroll Now button in both the EHR and PM by following the send message path.
