Step 1) Open a web browser and navigate to https://microsoft365.com, and then click "Sign in":




Step 2) Enter your work email address, and then click "Next":




Step 3) Enter your work email password, and then click "Sign in":




Step 4) You will be prompted to set up Microsoft Authenticator, click "Next":




Step 5) Either download and install Microsoft Authenticator from your smartphone's app store, or, open Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone if it is already installed. Click "Next" in the web browser:




Step 6) Click on "Next" in the web browser. If you are prompted to allow Microsoft Authenticator notifications on your smartphone, click allow notifications. Click "Next" in the web browser :




Step 7) In the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone, click on the + icon in the upper-right corner:




Step 8) In the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone, click on "Work or school account", and then click "Scan QR code" in the pop-up window:




Step 9) Use your smartphone to scan the QR code in the web browser, and then click "Next" in the web browser:



Step 10) In the web browser, click "Next" to send a notification to the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone:




Step 11) Enter the two-digit number shown in the web browser in the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone, click "Yes", and then click "Next" in the web browser after you have entered the two-digit number on your smartphone.





Step 12) Click "Next" in the web browser. Your Microsoft Authenticator app should now be configured properly:
